Borealosuchus wilsoni

Skeleton of Borealosuchus wilsoni, Wilson's northern crocodile. The name "Borealo" was chosen "due to the fact that most of the described specimens of this taxon come from northern North America" (Brochu, 1997).

This group of crocodiles lived approximately 72 to 48 million years ago and left no living descendants. Reaching 3 meters in length, these animals waited for their prey by the rivers or grabbed fish passing by.
